Aquatic Life Classic 100 GPD, 4 Stage Carbon Plus RO/DI Unit

Aquatic Life

RSAL1091

The Classic RO & RO/DI systems make up to 100 GPD (378L) of economically filtered Reverse Osmosis water, removing harmful substances like heavy metal ions and total dissolved solids from tap water.

The Classic 100 GPD RO/DI PLUS unit is designed to work with tap water that has been treated with Chloramines. Unlike Chlorine, which can be removed from water with a standard activated carbon block filter, Chloramines require a special filter cartridge.

The Carbon Plus filter cartridge included in this model is rated to remove up to 98% of the Chloramines at 3 ppm and 0.5 GPM flow and treat 3,000 gallons of water. In addition, the Carbon Plus cartridge will remove up to 99% of standard Chlorine at 2 ppm and 0.5 GPM for up to 30,000 gallons of water. The RO/DI unit itself is comprised of a 5-micron sediment cartridge, 0.5 micron Carbon Plus cartridge, 100 GPD membrane and a refillable 10 inch color-changing deionization resin cartridge. Built into the unit is an Auto Shutoff Solenoid (ASO) and Flush Valve. The built-in liquid filled pressure gauge makes it easy to know when it’s time to replace the membrane.

Features:
- Manual flush valve allows user to increase membrane life
- Clear micron cartridge housing makes it easy to view when cartridge should be replaced
- Auto shut-off valve stops incoming water supply when outflow is turned off (100 GPD model only)
- Wrenches make it easy to access the cartridge and membrane housings - Garden hose adapter make it easy to connect to a faucet
- 1/4 inch Buddy-Fit Press Fit Connectors simplify plumbing
- 0-160 PSI gauge provides a pressure reading of the supply water
- 10 ft. x 1/4 inch of each Blue, Yellow and Red Polyethylene Tubing helps with plumbing setup
- Built-in wall mount bracket allows the unit to be hung and secured in place.

OPERATING REQUIREMENTS:
Optimal water pressure: 40-65 PSI (if under 40 PSI a booster pump is required), Maximum water pressure: 80 PSI (if over 80 PSI a pressure regulator is required). Optimal water temperature: 77*F (25*C), Maximum water temperature: 105*F (40.5*C), Typical rejection rate: 1:3.5.
